Just a few streets away from the street markets in Hong Kong you find all the upmarket shops, Louis Vuitton, Prada and Tiffany. Over Christmas Tiffany placed a carousel in the middle of a square for all to enjoy. I decided to sit on a bench and watch everyone for a bit. It was such a contrast to the basic day to day atmosphere of the markets, it was all about everyone concentrating on their phones and cameras, oblivious to all around them, very much two sides of Hong Kong, one side old and one side new.
I was able to do quite a lot of people watching completely unobserved.

This is the shiny side of Hong Kong! It's interesting watching people all looking at their phones & cameras, I like the 2nd last one of the couple taking a photo of themselves. Lovely & colourful.
