Muscle Beach Santa Barbara
I love people watching and one of the places I sat and watched on our trip was at Muscle Beach. Everyone was performing, everyone was on show and each time I walked past something different was happening.
California I love you!
We have just spent ten days in California driving along the coast, wow it was amazing, I have fallen in love with the place, so much to see, do, experience! We started in San Francisco and finished in Santa Monica, drove 800 miles and saw so many amazing things. I loved every bit of it, any Californians want to swap??
We started our journey with a couple of days in San Francisco
We played tourists and went to Fisherman's Wharf
We stayed at the old army barracks at Cavello Point

A bit stuck for inspiration
I seem to be distinctly laking in inspiration and creativity at the moment so I thought the only answer was to stand on my favourite books and hope that would work!

A purple theme
As more flowers appear in my garden there is a definite theme of purple appearing! This clematis has just flowered. It is interesting inheriting an established garden. I have always made my gardens predominantly white but I do love the element of surprise I am experiencing at the moment. I have packets of seedlings to plant this week, I have again chosen mostly white and I'm hoping they will fill the garden all summer long. What colours do you love in your garden?
