Sydney
Yesterday I spent the day in Bondi with the truly lovely Leanne Barnett, we had never met before but managed to spend the day happily chatting and walking with our cameras. Meeting up with like minded people for a photowalk is such a great way to spend the day, I highly recommend it. Bondi is also so full of colour, so much fantastic graffitti and wonderful sights, I took so many pictures.
Happiness
I am in Sydney at the moment in a state of total happiness, all the elements are keeping me very happy, I have the sun, the sand and the sea, it is so nice to be warm. I have taken so many pictures and have been using instagram, are you on instagram? I am @justinegordon123.
Spring
I feel like spring is just around the corner don't you? I took this shot of my tulips on film using Kodak 400 and my trusty 50mm F1.8 lens on my old canon film camera. Have I tempted you guys with film yet?
I have just spent the last three days on a wonderful travel photography course and one of the things I learnt is that it really is possible to be a traveller in your own town. We took a trip to Chinatown in Soho where it is soon to be Chinese New Year, everything was alive with colour and noise and bustle. Do you like to travel within your own city?
Looking up or down there were lanterns everywhere
A lady making dumplings through a shop window
Two worlds collide - China and London
Lovely bright colours everywhere. I hope you feel a bit inspired to explore your hometown too.
