It's also social commentary - he's reached the bottom of the pile, sitting there on the bottom step with the wreath beside him. I'm intrigued about the spare shoe. Maybe it's just that - a spare for when one of the others gives up the ghost. I would have thought there would be a market for this photograph but I haven't the knowledge to know where.Angie Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02119123733934337373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4437693039047730106.post-62557806041235939772011-04-20T12:34:01.876+01:002011-04-20T12:34:01.876+01:00Oh for the story behind it! :-)Oh for the story behind it! :-)Photographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06859635446679188039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4437693039047730106.post-84812958307985029172011-04-20T09:44:04.933+01:002011-04-20T09:44:04.933+01:00This is a great candid shot - lots of telling deta...This is a great candid shot - lots of telling details and very moving.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4437693039047730106.post-18721117770946403412011-04-20T09:13:36.503+01:002011-04-20T09:13:36.503+01:00Very poignant! I know what you mean about taking photographs of complete strangers, it feels so voyeristic, yet it really highlights that everyone has a story to tell. As my girls would say "Keep up your stalking of randoms". It should be a new challenge for us all!! I can see it happening, you are getting into the London "vibe". I remember a trip I took to Philadelphia, PA and walked to the Museum of Fine Arts passed a park with lots of statues and every park bench was covered with the body of a homeless person sleeping. Some were even bathing in the fountains. It felt like I was in a scene from one of those end of the world movies. This is a photo that stirs much emotion.Carol Blackburnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02744965568317454970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4437693039047730106.post-43658835082471505222011-04-19T16:45:53.482+01:002011-04-19T16:45:53.482+01:00Nice shot.
