Nowadays, I tend to shoot much more in landscape orientation, knowing that most of my photographs are only going to be viewed on a computer screen - either my own or through my blog. Landscape simply fits the screen better. This bothers me.

As for your photos above, I'm amazed that you were able to match that vivid blue sari with your teacup photo. I also like the way the shape and texture of the cup echoes the drape and folds of the lady's sari.seablueleehttp://seabluelens.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4437693039047730106.post-9673568325706411052013-08-27T21:59:25.423+01:002013-08-27T21:59:25.423+01:00I love the way these blues look together. I'm excited to check out the site and maybe even find some diptych inspiration:) (I've been shooting in portrait more since being in Europe, don't know why but it suddenly made sense in many situations.)LONDONLULUhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14306334892097839949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4437693039047730106.post-78632068033058658612013-08-23T18:40:56.367+01:002013-08-23T18:40:56.367+01:00Love the color you used! I got a cool triptych at the lake one summer when this little boy came dancing across the rocks in front of me while I was photographing my grandson in the water. The triptych came out almost in perfect silhouettes because of the lighting. I've never really set out to make any like that.
