Giant thistle
Today is the most beautiful English summers day and I was in the garden early. This is my giant thistle and by mid july it will be a beautiful burst of purple.

the hostas are all in full bloom at the moment, they are so beautiful. This bud is from the hosta flower, it looks just like a lily don't you think?
