Signs of spring

Quiet days

Half term is over and the house seems terribly quiet, time to start spring cleaning I think....well, maybe not.

I have been doing more shooting with film. I read an article about using the Ilford delta 3200 film which is perfect for use in low light and gives off a lovely soft grainy 60's feel so I decided to give it a go even though my nikkormat only goes up to an ISO of 1600. I took these shots at dusk in London, low light, no flash. Have I persuaded any of you to try out film yet? it is a question of waiting, I sent the film off to ilford to be developed so it took a week but the waiting process is part of the fun and it isn't expensive.

Winter sunshine

 I took this shot on my iphone in the afternoon sun a couple of days ago, I love that winter golden hour and luckily someone was feeding the seagulls at just the right moment.

It's so cold!

Too cold to do anything but stay in bed with a good book...
