In the garden

I am struggling with the gloomy grey light at the moment and I was thinking about how to continue doing my 365 project during the winter but once I got out in the garden this morning I realised there is still so much out there to photograph. I picked this hydrangea which actually was white in the height of summer and now it is just as beautiful and will continue to change colour over the coming weeks so all is not lost.

  4. Wonderful photo, Justine. You know as winter approaches I'm sure you'll find so many things to photograph in the house from foods, to everyday household items like spoons, etc. I guess winter for me will be still life practice. It will be a challenge but, one I'm certain you will be fine with.

  6. Beautiful colors in this. My blue ones have just about dried, so they will be one of my subjects today!

  7. This is perfect for this shot....captures texture, shape and color ...all at once. Beautiful lighting, too. I'm hoping the deer don't mow down my hydrangeas, which were pretty pitiful bloomers anyway.

  8. I love this close up. I am not sure taking a picture of my hydrangeas would ever look as half a good as yours.
