Monday morning.

It is such a grey day today and my sundial won't be working today as it sits in an ever increasing puddle of water. Hope you are having a bit of sun where ever you are today.

  3. Love the contrast of the sundial filled with water.Sydney is drowning in rain at present and we have a spectacular lightning display happening at present. Wish I was a gifted photographer like you and could capture it!
PS Had to delete my previous post as I noticed a spelling mistake. As a teacher I couldn't abide leaving it there!!!

  4. Such a cool shot, Justine! You are so creative.

I think we're supposed to have a couple wonderful days, here in GA. It's only 31 degrees right now, tho!

  7. You always share the most interesting photos; I am truly fascinated. They are all so lovely.
We had several days of rain lately, but the sun appeared over the weekend and looks to stay for the week. Which is good, because my children need some time to run around outside!

  8. Love the detail and the drama of this shot - black and white has a way of turning the ordinary into dramatic. Well done.

  9. Yup. Grey here too. I've been experimenting indoors. I love the sundial and it makes a fabulous b&w image. Masses of texture and an interesting form.

  11. I love the contrasting textures here, the water against the hard sundial surface and its raised numbers...Another wonderful b&w - it makes a grey rainy English day seem rather (dare I say it?) appealing! :)

  16. Dismal and kind of lonely feeling. This is great. It is missing the sun.
