Ooo, I LOVE that kettle/bowl--whatever you call that thing with the spoon sticking out of it! LOL. I love this picture.
ReplyDeleteI just bought soup today. Its one of those horribly cold days outside that make you just want to stay in and huddle under a duvet.
ReplyDeleteI love the b&w tureen, makes me feel warm and toasty just seeing it!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, Justine. Whenever I make my beef stew it seems to rain. My daughter loves my beef stew however, she doesn't like the rain. Such a quandary. To make or not to make! Hmmm, I think I'll make it anyway.

ReplyDeleteHere is also (really) cold... and I have soup in the fridge, the kind you can drink while warming your hands up!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
Hot soup on a cold winter day is just what I need! Beautiful shot!

ReplyDeleteLOVE the shot!!
truly beautiful and inspiring. What camera do you use? Your talent is truly enjoyable to see every day!
ReplyDeleteNever mind, I see on the sidebar what you have. But more than 1/2 the talent is you!
ReplyDeleteI'm making soup today! Although it's pretty warm here in Austin :)
ReplyDeleteI have run out of interesting ,different, grammatically correct and allowable superlatives to describe my response to each new photo you post..........so I spose you could say I'm lost for words. Beautiful Justine.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree with Gayle! Again a fantastic photo, Justine! It looks so inviting - I'd like to have soup, too.
ReplyDeleteYou are a genius - I see a big pot of soup in my future - just the thing for a miserable snowy day.
ReplyDeleteLove it! It is really beautiful with the shadows. I think soup sounds like a fantastic idea!!
ReplyDeleteSimply elegant, once again!!!
ReplyDeleteI think I can smell the soup!
Aw, warm soup...sounds good! Flying back home to Vegas from Seattle right now, and it's supposed to be cold at home. Soup sounds great! Chat with you soon!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! As so many have previously said - I could have used that today! It's cold and rainy here. I really BLAH day.
ReplyDeleteSoup does sound so good. I love how your photo is right by that window. It just looks cold outside which makes that soup sound even better.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Linda
A spectacular shot. I totally love the tones, not really sepia, not b/w. What did you do to get that color? Wonderful photo on so many levels. My hat's off to you!
ReplyDeleteHow fortuitous! My todo list for today includes making some butternut squash soup. I don't have a recipe so thought I'd make something up. Your tureen is beautiful - hope the soup warmed you up.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this image - the tones, the shallow DoF, focus on the tureen, that beautiful window in the background, and the light.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! You have such an eye for things in b&w!! I turned my camera to it's monochrome setting the other night and thought of you. :)
