Alice is home from University and I have so missed her, I've missed the little things like watching her put her make up on, albeit at midday when she has just woken up! I am participating in black and white Wednesday on the Long road to China, do check out other entries.

Lovely! A wonderful moment captured. The reflection is a nice touch!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, such concentration on both of your parts. She looks like she has beautiful eyes.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo of a beautiful girl! I love the reflection, and the black and white is perfect for this photo. Just makes it look so "clean".
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, Justine. With the reflection it looks as if it is her and her friends getting ready for a wedding.
ReplyDeleteI am going to do PW. I'm also taking a Kim Klassen Photoshop class. I read on another blog that you decided not to do PW. I hope you have changed your mind!

We'll be missing out on the mince pies and Christmas turkey (and, gasp, Queen's speech :)) this year, so I can't wait to hear how your holidays go!

Lovely picture - she looks perfectly relaxed about being photographed. I pull the most horrendous faces when I put my eye makeup on :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful young woman, and such a sweet, intimate moment you have captured. This time you have with her is so precious, and before long she'll be off on her own so enjoy every moment you have together! I wish you and your family a very Merry Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with joy, peace, health and many, many wonderful photo ops!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful shot Justine - there is so much to see and my eye keeps getting drawn deeper in. A perfect portrait!
