Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.......
It was a record -12 here at 6am! Today looks truly beautiful as the sun is shining and it is picture postcard stuff but England has come to a standstill and it looks like we won't be going away tomorrow as we are supposed to be flying to Hong Kong from Heathrow. It's not the end of the world as we will still all be together at home but it means I have to rush out and buy all the Christmas presents now as I was going to do that in Hong Kong so I am in a little bit of a panic.....

Oh No! I'm hoping with many crossed fingers and toes that everything starts working again soon... Hong Kong for Christmas would be lovely and warm, plus there are far too many people trying to get places at this time of the year for airports to be shut down!

ReplyDeletethe light is so nice, I love how the snow is glistening!
ReplyDeleteSo....that MIGHT mean flying INTO England might be hard as well huh? My Christmas vacation to the UK might be canceled.... :-(

ReplyDeleteOh, Justine, I am so sorry that you've had to cancel your vacation! I can't believe the snow you have when here in New England, which is typically a snowy place, we have none. Your shots are gorgeous with beautiful lighting.

Brrrrr.....-12 degrees is something I'm not quite ready for. We've gotten down to about 17 above Zero for a day or two then got a reprieve of 31 degrees. I keep cranking up the heat in my studio or I can't get in there to paint and the electric company is asking for more money. Boo!
ReplyDeleteWow, how did you do it?! This first photo is amazing! Really!

Oh gorgeous, gorgeous photos....... gave me chills. i would so love a Christmas with snow but as I,ve seen on the tv. news it is causing all sorts of hold ups, delays and dramas, very disappointing when you have plans. ReplyDeleteI'm also commenting back on your comment on my blog :) I also use my 50mm/1.8 indoors. It works fabulously. I'm just terrified to rise my ISO above 800, which is where the speedlight comes in handy :)
