A new year.

Today over at mortal muses the prompt is 'resolution'. Although I wrote a few days ago that I hate making resolutions as I always break them, I have decided to make one, to travel more. We used to live in Sydney and in Hong Kong and travelled extensively but since we have lived in England for the past five years everything seems to have come to a bit of a halt, travel has become about going somewhere to get a bit of sunshine, not a chance to see different parts of the world and really explore. This is one resolution I intend to keep in 2011.

  1. Fabulous! I think your first port of call should be a return trip to Sydney!!!! I could certainly be tempted to join you in your travels.Who knows where in the world we may meet up ???

  2. What a pleasurable resolution. It would be fun to make a list of all the places you want to visit and then being able to tick them off! Happy New Year!!

I'm not much of a traveler, so I'll just live vicariously through your photos if that's okay :-)

  15. I love your header photo, too. I like to think of setting intentions, rather than resolutions. Intentions seem easier to work on. Safe travels!

  17. Hi Justine - love your new banner! And I'd love to add more travel to my 2011 plans but it seems unlikely as we're hoping to be buying land and building a house... so I will happily travel vicariously with you and enjoy all your beautiful photography along the way. Have a great year!
