For Darrah Parker's slice of life course this week we are telling our story. For me this is the kitchen table. When the four of us are here together this is where we take our seats. Its our centre, our meeting point, talking point and our home.

What a wonderful way to tell the story that is the heart of your house and home. Gorgeous light!
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice photo. Reminds of when I was a little kid and would play under the kitchen table.
ReplyDeleteYour photographs always capture the light so beautifully. I love the angle you've chosen to shoot this from. Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful light, lovely words too!
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice shot.. I just love how you captured the light here..
ReplyDeleteHugs, Linda
We were like that at my house growing up as well. We still spend hours around the table talking and catching up when we all get together.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot and unusual focus point. I think you nicked my chairs - I'll just have to go and check :-)
ReplyDeleteIt does remind me of younger days when we played under tables ;) Lovely lighting and view point.
ReplyDeleteThere's something really beautiful with this shot - I do feel like a child playing hide and seek.
ReplyDeleteI think the kitchen table holds a family together. What a lovely image! The light is so warm and inviting.
ReplyDeleteWonderful image.

ReplyDeleteLove the light here!
ReplyDeleteI love the lighting. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love photos where the lens is looking through/past something. More lines I as well. Charmaine
ReplyDeleteLooks like a warm, cozy spot. Love the big open window.
ReplyDeleteGreat composition and such warmth!
ReplyDeleteI like the light on the chairs and the way you capture it!
ReplyDeleteI just love how you observe and love those sunbeams in your home! The next photography theme at Cambridge in Colour is "kitchen art". I've been thinking of you, Justine, several times a day for weeks, now. I'm thinking of your beautiful B&Ws of whisks and the way you turn ordinary kitchen utensils into art. The way you catch your kitchen's peace is an art, too. I need to come up with my own expression of it, though, eh? Well, we will see....=]
ReplyDeleteLove, Katy
No doubt about you. You can create something from nothing and make the ordinary, extraordinary - you are so gifted Justine!
ReplyDeleteVery nice shot!!!
ReplyDeleteWell said! The photo is so beautiful, and it reminds me of the sweetness of family time as we are gathered around the table.
ReplyDeleteLovely shot and beautiful words!
ReplyDeleteKisses.
