shades of green

I thought today I would show you another view of the flat, this time it is our bedroom in the early evening sunlight. As you can see it has quite a few shades of matching green in it. I am still slightly out of my comfort zone with my daily photographs, I wander around London trying to find things that catch my eye, I can't seem to connect with anything. I long to ask strangers if I can take their portraits but I am not brave enough, hopefully inspiration will come soon! I am also struggling with the internet and just using a dongle to get connected in the flat so please be patient and if I don't get to comment on your blogs it isn't through lack of trying.

  2. This is beautiful Justine. Love the wonderful greens.
Do give yourself some time to settle in there, and I am sure that once you do, you will find more than enough inspiration.
    Hugs.

  4. Such a restful looking room.

Every time I move (and I do it a lot) there is that period of adjustment. I used to hate it, but know I look at it as an opportunity to open my mind to new "realities" the change in attitude seems to help me.

  5. I love those shades of green, so peaceful - I think green in a bedroom is meant to be very soothing. Thanks for your birthday wishes! Hope you settle into your new surroundings soon..I think it is normal to feel the way you do - such a big change, so give yourself lots of kindness as you go through it. xo

  9. Sorry to hear you are struggling for inspiration for your photos. as you certainly inspire me. The fence photo from yesterday was taken at Melbourne Luna Park. I was waiting for my son to finish on a ride and I saw the fence and I thought of your photos. I thought hmmm I will give it a go. Charmaine

  11. Hey Justine, you are connecting just fine, on every level. Your photos are as beautiful as ever, love the light and colour tones in this one. all artists have to be comfortable and at home in their surroundings to to be able to completely immerse themselves in their creative ventures.....you are living in a rented flat ! You will soon be "at one" with your new home and London and it will all start to feel "right". xx

  16. It's a lovely photograph. Could be something out of an interior design book. You really are clever with your indoor photography. And don't worry - you'll get your mojo back when it's ready; don't force it. Misty and Rosie send big hugs :-)

  22. This is so wonderful, Justine! I love the light and also the tones in this photo! It doesn't show in your pictures that you don't feel inspired - I love them all. Unfortunately, I can't spend much time (or rather any at all) at flickr, but I'm sure there are waiting a few of your wonderful photos to be admired! I hope you feel comfortable again soon!
