Black and white for summer

I love black and white in the summer, they always seem such perfect colours for this time of year, clean and bold and uncluttered. They look great together in clothes or on a sofa, as a colour scheme for a room or  just as a table setting. What are your favourite summer colours?

    Cute shot! I love bright yellow in the Summer! Actually, wearing yellow in Winter is great too because not many people do it :)

    Great shot Justine. I don't wear a lot of black, but notice I am starting to get drawn to black and white more and more. It's simple, yet elegant, just like your photograph.

    I agree. Black and white are always good and more modern than navy and white. This is a great photo.

    Great capture! I have to admit that I love blue as well for summer ~ being land locked here in TX it helps remind me of the ocean. :)

    My kitchen is done in black and white. Every summer I replace the red accents with turquoise ones (kettle, towels, some pottery) to "cool" it down. I like to wear white in the summer, especially when the temps reach 100! A simply perfect picture for today!

    I just love how you take the simplest items and make them look amazing.. Green.. Maybe a pail yellow.. Or pink... I really can't decide..

    Beautiful, elegant photo. Black & white....classic, it will never date and will always look stunning, but for me it's not enough, I am such a colour girl I have to throw a colour into the mix. For summer, it would be teal or buttercup yellow and for winter it would be hot pink or rich cream, with black and white as the dominant colours.

    Black and white is very pretty, and photographs the same way.
    I like white and a soft yellow together. That says summer for me.
