Cornflowers

I went to visit my mother yesterday, she has a huge garden bed full of cornflowers - perfect summer blues.  I am participating in the Lisa's wonderful creative exchange today.

    Such a pretty shade of purple...and one day closer on the 365, and the letter C. You're doing great. The shallow DOF is really beautiful.
    Today I filled in the number days on my calendar since I've turned the page to August. I'm at day 340-that way I can see the goal.

    I LOVE this photo Justine! The blues are my favorite, and "cornflower blue" was on of my most favorite Crayola Crayons. :-)
