Green tomatoes

These wonderful green tomatoes come from my mother's greenhouse, I'm hoping if I leave them out on the windowsill they will be ready to eat soon.

  7. Your green tomatoes are lovely! I should try to photograph some of the tomatoes on my husband's 5 potted plants, but he wouldn't let me pick them! ;-) I love the simplicity of this image, Justine.

  9. Gorgeous. I always end up with a whole lot of green tomatoes that never quite ripen before the plants die. I've tried putting them on the windowsill but it never seems to work for me. I've made lots of green tomato chutney though!

  11. When I look at these, I think of my Mother standing over the stove making fried green tomatoes! I don't think she ever let one tomato ripen!! This is a great composition Justine!

  18. Nobody does "simple" like you do. You turn it in to sophisticated and stunning.
