These wonderful green tomatoes come from my mother's greenhouse, I'm hoping if I leave them out on the windowsill they will be ready to eat soon.

Yum and what a gorgeous shot
ReplyDeleteYour green tomatoes are lovely! I should try to photograph some of the tomatoes on my husband's 5 potted plants, but he wouldn't let me pick them! ;-) I love the simplicity of this image, Justine.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I love your composition, Justine! Somehow they look like little Chinese lanterns! I bet they will be delicious!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I always end up with a whole lot of green tomatoes that never quite ripen before the plants die. I've tried putting them on the windowsill but it never seems to work for me. I've made lots of green tomato chutney though!
ReplyDeleteSo simple and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love the light and the colour in this picture. There is something very delicate about it all.
ReplyDeleteWhen I look at these, I think of my Mother standing over the stove making fried green tomatoes! I don't think she ever let one tomato ripen!! This is a great composition Justine!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous colour and shape these are......nothing tastes quite like home grown tomatoes. I hope they ripen for you. You always make the simplest things look absolutely amazing.xx

Green tomatoes remind me of the film "Fried Green Tomatoes"...a real classic-.
ReplyDeleteThese have such interesting shape. I am picking little grape tomatoes from the pot on my deck. New blog look...like it. Simple and clear. Let's your amazing photos do all the talking, as it should be. Hope all is well.
Gorgeous shot.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful, Justine- whether they ripen or not they will be delicious. Last year I made fried green tomatoes for the first time and everybody loved them!
ReplyDeleteNobody does "simple" like you do. You turn it in to sophisticated and stunning.
ReplyDeleteIf not...you can always dip them in a bit of egg, then cornmeal, get out the fry pan and you've got delicious friend green tomatoes!!!
