Gorgeous. I always end up with a whole lot of green tomatoes that never quite ripen before the plants die. I've tried putting them on the windowsill but it never seems to work for me. I've made lots of green tomato chutney though!
When I look at these, I think of my Mother standing over the stove making fried green tomatoes! I don't think she ever let one tomato ripen!! This is a great composition Justine!

Green tomatoes remind me of the film "Fried Green Tomatoes"...a real classic-. These have such interesting shape. I am picking little grape tomatoes from the pot on my deck. New blog look...like it. Simple and clear. Let's your amazing photos do all the talking, as it should be. Hope all is well.
They are beautiful, Justine- whether they ripen or not they will be delicious. Last year I made fried green tomatoes for the first time and everybody loved them!

ReplyDeleteIf not...you can always dip them in a bit of egg, then cornmeal, get out the fry pan and you've got delicious friend green tomatoes!!!
