These cameras and the ones in the previous shot were all on a stall in Portobello Road in Notting Hill, sadly they were rather too expensive to bring home.

They're gorgeous. Love this b&w shot.
ReplyDeleteThere it is! That one on the right . . . it's my old Rolleiflex.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great camera (sharp, sharp lens, too.)
wow, wonderful set of cameras. too bad they're not yours...or mine!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun bit of history.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic shot
ReplyDeleteSuch a great lineup!
ReplyDeleteMy rolleiflex 2.8F is one of my favorite cameras for street photography. I would not say no to a Mamiya ;) Santa, can you hear me?
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing!! Wouldn't it be great to own one of these...to collect these antique relics??? Wonderful images - both this..and the one previous.
ReplyDeleteUau, the view is pefect :)
ReplyDeleteGreetings♥
Would that be so cool to have a camera like that.. My father in-law bought an old brownie at an antique shop for $25.00, I could not believe it.. I keep trying to talk him into giving it to me!!

All the old cameras are so fun to look at! And isn't it amazing how crisp old photos always are. It makes you wonder doesn't it?

I love this shot, Justine. Great composition and amazing bokeh!
ReplyDeleteI am amazed that so many of these have survived. I loved visiting Portobello Road, you obviously found a lot of interesting things to photograph. Fabulous as always!
ReplyDeleteWhat little beauties these are, and so perfect in black and white!
ReplyDeleteThey are beauties - each and every one!
ReplyDeleteThey look to be in great condition. It sure would be fun to have a vintage camera collection.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if there was ever a time that beauties like these were dirt cheap? Great shot and looks perfect in B&W. Thanks also for your lovely comment, Justine x
ReplyDeleteAwsome find great pic
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful! I've heard there's been a resurgence for old film cameras...because of the devastation from the earthquake and tsunami's in Japan good digitals are harder to come by and not many price breaks so old film cameras are supposedly priced to sell...the problem is where do you get good film and/or have it processed???!!!
ReplyDeleteThese look wonderful! Have you ever had the opportunity to shoot with one of these beauties?
ReplyDeletewhat a great find - pity about the price.
