Friends and serendipity

We had a wonderful time in Sydney over Christmas catching up with family and old friends. One of my favourite catch ups was with my closest friend Simone who also hosts this wonderful blog. Simone hosted a wonderful dinner for four of us who had got to know each other in mothers group when our girls were born (they are now all nearly turning 21!).
Simone lives in the most beautiful house overlooking the water, a view to die for don't you agree?
It is wonderfully light and beautifully decorated.

We had such a wonderful evening with delicious food and far too much wine

Thanks Simone xx (do go and visit her blog!)

  1. Those do look like amazing views. Anytime you can be overlooking water there is calmness and serenity that comes with that. So glad your trip was enjoyable. How fun to meet with Simone.

  2. How wonderful, boh the photos and the view! Was it very hard to leave again?

  3. Oooh, Pittwater maybe ???? Sydney is such a dynamic city with its wonderful harbour....beautiful place, beautiful photos. xx

  4. Lucky you!! I was in Sidney once. But I never left the airport. I jumped right onto another plain and went to Melbourne. I would love to go back someday. But that flight is sooooo long!
Simone's house in breathtakingly beautiful. And those Views.. Sigh...

    Hugs, Linda
