I can't believe how many adirondack chairs we saw in California, I wish I had a front porch or a huge garden to put some in! They seem such a comfortable way to view the world.

Hi Justine, those chairs are a "staple" around these parts I just don't own any because I can't get out of them being short with bad hips. LOL
ReplyDeleteThey do make great subjects for painting though and show up everywhere. Artist Kelly MacDonald did one with chickens standing on them that is awesome. Love your shots!
We sat in some of those in Dana Point, CA last summer. A perfect way to take in the beautiful scenery. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite chairs for relaxing! Adirondacks mean summer to me. Love that last shot!
ReplyDeleteLove Adirondacks!!! I prefer them in wood...but I have to say, I'm inclined to get a few of the plastic knock off's for the back patio that can go under the deck when the snow comes!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful subject, and a wonderful series, Justine!
ReplyDeleteYou KNOW how to capture "relaxation". And YES, I am going to buy a brightly colored pair this summer and put it out my kitchen window! The thought of them might just be enough. Keep a look out for it ... I will credit you with the inspiration! :)
ReplyDeletelove these pictures - especially the last one!
