ReplyDeleteOh, it's beautiful! I'm sure it's called Astrantia, Justine. They come in a variety of colors. I have reddish-purple ones. I just found one called "Moulin Rouge" in a catalog that has dark red flowers and purple-red tips. I think I'll order one of those, too! I like photographing them when they finish blooming and the heads are dried up. Your composition of this image is wonderful.

What a beautiful DOF. I photograph these astrantia alot and have that white one in my garden - Astrantia major.
