I hope you show us a pic when it opens. It looks like a tulip growing sideways :) What pretty color!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color! I've never heard of a windflower. Native to England?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful macro. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a moment - I don't normally see anemones shot at this stage - so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely stunning, Justine! Wonderful tones and all the details - so beautiful! I can't wait to see it fully open!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I've never seen one. Always interesting to see what's growing in other parts of the world.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with all these comments. Just breathtaking!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous photo.. Well done!
ReplyDeleteOlè olé y olè!!
ReplyDeleteWindflower. Hmmmm. Wonder what that name is about. Don't know that one(I'm only allowed perennials that do their thing despite lack of water/weeding/fertilizer/ or attention of any sort). The rich color is quite striking.
