I am grateful that my photography lets me see everyday items in the supermarket in a different light, I bought this to photograph, not to cook with! Does anyone else do that?

Justine, you are not alone. I bought a pineapple once to photograph and paint but put it on a windowsill and forgot about it....opps!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
Oh yes, I come home with all kinds of stuff that the only thing I use it for is to photograph!! Beautiful image!!
ReplyDeleteOH my yes.. I have bought pears simply to photograph them. Not only food items but I have in the past bought items for photographing. I try not to do that as I end up with too much junk.
ReplyDeleteI once bought a martini glass to photograph...
ReplyDeleteHa ha, yes sometimes! Quinces and Pomegranates are my weakness, I love their 'organic' shape and they sit in the fruit bowl and never get used. The colour of the fennel is gorgeous and I love the smell. It's wonderful grated finely into a salad. Great shot, the crisp green and white, so fresh. xx
ReplyDeleteHaha ~ I totally do that! I like your results Justine! Terrific!

Not to often. But I have done it. I definitely like the way this photo turned out.
ReplyDeleteHugs~
I do it more in the summer with the farmers market finds.
ReplyDeleteha ha. Yes. I am ALWAYS eyeballing the pomegranate, but I don't really like them. So I have to wait for my daughter to come home from school as she loves them. :)
