Tulip love
I've said it before and I will say it again, I do love this time of year in the garden. I planted some tulips in November in my tiny little garden and they have just bloomed and are truly amazing. I like to buy my flowers from Sarah Raven who seems to produce the most amazing testosterone filled plants that have me completely in awe. I have had these tulips in water for five days now and they continue to look absolutely amazing. I have also planted some of her other plants due to burst forth in the next few months so watch this space.

Very different for tulips. I guess one never knows all that is out there. Beautifully photographed, Justine. Hope all is well with you.
ReplyDeletewow Justine these are just crazy cool, lucky YOU.
ReplyDeleteYour right.. They are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous, beautifully captured.
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous tulips. Hopefully ours will be opening this week.
ReplyDeleteWhite tulips, so elegant. (I'll reserve comment about you know who). I remember your delight with the gardens when you bought this home. You're adding to the collection. Must be a beautiful spot.
ReplyDeleteOh, my, how utterly gorgeous!!! There are so many beautiful flowers. We had a new flower in our sanctuary on Sunday -- peonies! I know, I'm sure you have them there, but I've never seen them in person. Now, all I want is a bouquet of peonies (I'm sure they're special order). Most of my flowers are wild on the roadside and I never pick them. Hope you're doing well.
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful! Tulips are my favorite flower, and I so enjoy seeing them. These have lasted so well. Lovely series of captures. Hope it is a good Spring so far. -Jude
ReplyDeleteYour tulips are special and so lovely! Enjoy your garden!
ReplyDeleteAlways love your flower photos, and these are just gorgeous, I can't believe they are tulips. Australia's climate is really not suitable for growing these wonderful "European" flowers, so I just have to enjoy yours. xx
ReplyDeleteYour garden must look amazing. These are such bold tulips.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely!!
ReplyDeleteMe encanta toda la serie, hermosa flor!
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo grande.
Oh they are just gorgeous. Love Sarah Raven. I saw an article she wrote (last year, before?) about a wedding she organised - all cow parsley and country flowers, it looked absolutely lovely for the lucky couple.
