Making memories

Do you print out your photographs? this is something I keep thinking about as I save more and more photographs to clouds and hard drives. I keep thinking about photo walls and scrapbooks and realise that what I should be doing is going back to old fashioned photo albums. I recently bought these sweet little pegs and string and have a few photographs in front of me.

I also have a mood board but I think I need to do more, do you print out your photographs? what do you do?

  1. No I do not print.. but I am thinking of starting to make photobooks. Shame that I can only view my work on the pc. Would like to be able to look through books and see them instead.

  2. Hi Justine, I don't print out a lot but I do save my prized photos to disks in case something happens to the computer. For years my hubby has been saying we need to get an external hard drive and back up our data but it's still not done. My way around it is put it on a disk. Hope things are good with you.

  3. I think photo books are a good idea- I made one up of my ten on tens last year & will do again this year- really easy to make & just lovely to hold & look at!
I like your little pegs, I think I'll do something like that x

  4. Yes, and no....I have 1,000's more that are not printed than are. I save most of mine saved to an external hard drive. Heaven forbid that I should lose one of the 1,000's....

  5. I print very few these days. Just the ones I want to place in frames or on the refrigerator for a spell. I do love photo albums though. I love anything tangible which is why I have not switched to reading on an eBook reader.

Have a great day Justine. Love your photos!

  6. I have great intentions of printing, I just don't though. That project is on my bucket list for this year.

  7. I make a photo book a year, with my top photographs - usually of high days and holidays, with captions and funnies for my husbands Christmas present. I am doing a new photo wall at the mo but I take so many photos it's hard to chose.

  8. I have seven years (literally) of photos sitting on a bookshelf waiting to be organized and put in photo boxes. Since I have that project waiting for me (for years now) I only print photos that I'm going to frame or display in some way. Or give to family and friends. I love your string display. I want to put more of my own work in our home, and need to work on that.

  9. I don't print enough, just 'special' photos and photos to share with my mom who has dial-up internet and cannot open even the smallest files. But I do make photo books of special occasions, trips, etc.

  10. That is so weird that you mentioned that. Every once in a great while I will print out some photos. And I just told my hubby I was going to print some out yesterday. I do like to framed some of my photos. The hard part is deciding on which ones.

    Hugs~
