One of the things I love about blogging and photography is the people I have been lucky enough to meet along the way. A few months ago when I began my travels to and from Sydney I put a notice on flickr and instagram that I would be in Sydney and would love to do a photowalk at Bondi and anyone else who wanted to do the same could meet me at a certain time and place. The one person that showed up was Leanne and since that first meeting where we chatted and took pictures and chatted some more, we have continued to meet up and enjoy our days together. We both agreed we were ready for a new project and got very inspired by an exhibition we went to see called 52suburbs.com where Louise Hawson has gone around the world taking diptychs and we have decided to do the same over at two takes where we will be pairing our photographs from around Sydney and we would love it if you would check it out.

ReplyDeletelove this photo x
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you have a new friend in Sydney. And exploring it together is such a great idea. I have a hard time with dyptichs knowing what pairs well, but yours will certainly work-Sydney from 2 points of view, cool. My friend Leon (Sea Blue Lee) used to live 20 min away. We had the same kind of bond-then she up and moved to CA. I miss her BUT the good news is CA wasn't for her and she's moving back next month. I'm delighted she missed me so much she had to return. ; )
ReplyDeleteBTW-It isn't lost on me that 17th has come and gone. Will be checking in.
