A few years ago we were in Hawaii right before Christmas and of course, there were holiday decorations everywhere. It almost seemed dissonant to me. After all, Christmas is about cold, snow, long nights, short days, evergreen trees, red berries. Not palm trees and palmetto and temps in the 80's (F). You'll have quite an adjustment to make this year. I hope you'll tell us all about it.
That is so funny, with the Santa good catch. My son in law is in Sydney right now. On a 10 day whirl wind business trip from Australia to Norway. Talk about jet lag. Just hope he doesn't come back sick going from summer to winter in a few days.

ReplyDeleteWater polo players :) cute! Having lived in Michigan and the cold weather all my life, it would so weird to not have cold and snow.
