Merry Christmas!

I spotted this very relaxed Father Christmas in the park the other day, he had a certain Aussie swagger to him, and I think he must have been very hot in his wellies as it was around 28 degrees. I still can't believe Christmas is on Wednesday and today we should be celebrating the winter solstice but instead will be celebrating a heat wave!
I am counting down the hours till the children arrive early on Monday morning from London, we will be a family again. Michael has his fourth round of chemotherapy on Monday too and the great news is that it will mark the half way point and a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel, only four more rounds to go. He is doing so well, coping and adjusting to all the various problems this awful disease brings but it is a learning curve and it has made us so grateful for so many things.
I just wanted to wish you a very merry Christmas and a wonderful 2014 and thank you for all your wonderful support and kind messages, I am so grateful.

  2. Such good news for all of you at Christmas, so glad you all will be together. It will be a strange one for all of you with the heat but maybe a welcome one as in beach weather. I am sure your kids will love that. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas Happy New Year and to a better one in 2014.
