more from the countryside

My parents live in a 16th century farmhouse in the Sussex countryside, they have lived there for forty five years and nothing in the house has changed. We have moved countries and houses so many times and my daughter Alice remarked the other day that it is the only place she knows that has remained a constant through her life to date.

  1. What a gorgeous setting and what I think of England when I think of England as I haven't been there. So pretty. Love seeing your Mum in her setting. Thank you for showing. Love all the papers on the settee just so homey and what I think of as when I think of an English novel and oh my that lawn. How wonderful to have this to go home to. You are blessed.

  2. There's something so comforting about the consistency of a loved one's house. I miss that... I miss my Grand-Mother. Her home was that place for me. 😊
