I have been busy in my garden with the arrival of spring, the lavender has been growing so well. I think the secret really is to leave lavender alone to just get on with it, it seems to be working for me here in Sydney. I am thinking about making lavender oil once it has dried, does anyone know how to do this??

So beautiful, Justine! I lve lavender but we've been unsuccessful with it ... even though we leave it alone! Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Justine, you must have the perfect spot there is so much!
ReplyDeleteI love lavender and I think you are right, it love the warmth and just letting it be with some water is really all this plant needs. Love the color and the smell. I don't know how to make the oil but a good google search would probably do the trick.
ReplyDeleteLavender is one of my favorites. I have a pot of it I started from seed (it was a kit) last Christmas. I'm not sure it will ever bloom, but I love brushing against the leaves to release the scent. Yours is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love lavender. Mine is hit or miss, it does better in some spots than others and some years than others.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours and tones! I love lavender, so calming! Seems weird you saying 'the arrival of spring', when here in the UK we are welcoming Autumn xx
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! I never have any luck with growing lavender on my balcony, I've tried it for several years now. I love lavender - the colour, the scent - just wonderful!
