Finding beauty in nature

The weather has turned here in London and it's very chilly, gloves and hats needed and red cheeks appear when you run back inside after a dog walk. I took refuge from the cold this week and visited beautiful Kew Gardens. The garden beds are of course empty of any colour at this time of year but there is such beauty to be found in the majesty of the beautiful bare trees and there are tiny signs of hope with bulbs peeking their heads out. The best place to be was the Palm and Temperate house, home to a staggering amount of ferns etc from around the world. It was hot and steamy and beautiful. I intend to go back every month and chart the progress of the garden as the seasons change.
