I was in the garden this morning looking at how everything is changing. The fir cones are tiny at the moment but I suppose by Christmas they will be ready to put around the tree or paint. What is it about the beginning of September that makes It feels so autumnal even though they promise a sunny weekend? Everyone is heading back to school, I can't believe the summer is over.
It's macro friday at blogging for Bolivia do have a look at all the fantastic photos and join in.

ReplyDeleteI love how the lens captures the texture of the cone. Its a great angle too.
I think September has 2 personalities. It can't decide if it wants to be summer or fall. Over here in CA anyway. :)
Beautiful! I'm having a hard time believing fall is just around the corner

Oh, dear, did I just lose my last comment? Well, in case it doesn't show up again, I think that this photo is "Oooooooo! Nifty neato!" and, after a week of terrible July-like heat, we are back to our regularly scheduled season: summer into fall. My favorite, btw!
ReplyDeleteLove, Katy Noelle
Isn't amazing how nature makes the most unique designs. This pine cones makes me think of ruffles of a frilly skirt!
