A weed in the garden

I am not letting go of summer even though we put the heating on and the chimney sweep is coming next week - did you know that you must touch the chimney sweep for good luck each year? - anyway, it is the most beautiful morning again so I couldn't resist going into the garden with my macro, I don't know what this weed is it looked so beautiful.

    Ooo, when you said "chimney sweep", it made me feel all cozy inside! I wish I had a chimney!!! That is such an awesome tradition to "touch the chimney sweep" for good luck. How cool. I LOVE traditions! Moreover, I love this shot! Awesome as always ;-)

    I love the term "chimney sweep" full stop! Perhaps we should get one this year just for the sake of enacting that wonderful tradition :) This shot is amazing - I love all your early morning captures.

    OK Justine, I know I just got off work and I'm tired but when I look at your photo of this silky weed it appears to move like there is a slight breeze. I've had other photos look this way and don't know if it's the photo or ME. But, do love it!

    I was actually trying to get some shots of Thistle this morning that looked much like this. Unfortunately the wind picked up a bit, and that was the end of that!!
