Daffodils

 My daughter Alice came for dinner last night and bought me a lovely bunch of daffodils. This is the corner of my kitchen where I like to sit and read a book and this is my current book. I haven't quite got into it yet but it has had rave reviews. I am finding I have so much more time for reading now as I was inspired by my lovely friend Leanne to give up instagram for Lent. I am finding that it really is having such a positive impact, no more 'doom scrolling' and picking up my phone constantly and I just feel so liberated and each day I read how more and more people are leaving social media for the good of their health.
