As those of you who have read my blog for a while will know, I do love books. I am so grateful to be able to have wonderful bookshops at my disposal here in London and my current book is top of this pile - on the calculation of volume by Solvej Balle. It is the story of a woman who is trapped in the same day every day, currently she is on day 80. Hard to think that a story about the same day would be interesting but her writing is superb and it also makes me slow down and savour it whilst I am reading it. I can't imagine how it will end when she gets to day 365. This book is also number two of my current project, which is to work through A - Z of authors. I have already read one A and I intend to read one book on a letter and work through. I had originally thought I would read 4 books a month/2 authors/2 letters, but went off that idea so now its just a simple A to Z project and I would love it if you would join in.
