Hi Justine, your Maple in the morning sun is so,so beautiful. Are'nt photos taken in morning sun so rich and warm. I try and have my art projects finished by morning just so I can make use of this light to photograph them, they take on a lovely glow.Thank you for your kind comment re/ my photos. I am slowly feeling a bit more confident, but still not always sure of what I could have done to make them perfect, still so much to learn.
I love your first photo, it really gives away that warm Autumn feeling. It reminds me of those cold days that are warmer when one is catching the sunlight :). Thank you for sharing!
Stunning, Justine............that morning sun is my favorite time of day. I was telling my grandson about how when I was his age and had to walk to school I made sure I picked a seat in the south east corner of the classroom if possible so that the warmth of the morning sun would fall on my back during the early morning part of school and warm me up after the long walk. He found that quite interesting as I was sitting in our kitchen, at the time, with the sun streaming in through the picture window, falling across my back. :)

So there is really a reason to not sleep In... It is such a lovely photo. I like the macro of the drivers hat ... The texture and angle is great. I will have to start going through the closets... :)

ReplyDeleteSigh, such loveliness! I love the rusty browns, burgundies, goldens - the Japanese maples I've seen don't seem anywhere as lush as this one!
