My clematis flowers are clinging on to the bitter end, growing old very gracefully. I think they look like masses of spider's legs. Do check out other posts over at the wonderful blogging from Bolivia.

What a wonderful subject....I have a few of those, as well, but maybe not as 'hairy' as yours. ;-) This is such a great photo of the stages of a flower.
the fine details are so interesting - you've got a great eye. I just used my tripod for the first time today - it does make taking macros a whole lot more enjoyable!
