A tiny splash of colour.

Today is very grey but there is a little colour protest going on in my garden.

  3. Sometimes all it takes is the smallest speck of color to brighten up a dark and dreary day. Sometimes it's the light in a loved ones eyes. Beautiful photo, Justine. Enjoy your day!

  6. Wow I love the green of the background - and the splash of red is beautiful - not a sign of grey!

  7. Oh look at that photo ! So crisp so simple so beautiful. Thanks for the tip re/lenses; I'm off to Adelaide tomorrow so will check them out. I'm assuming when you say a walking lens that means you "walk" toward or away from the subject in order to focus, I do tend to do this now because I set my camera to manual focus and its just easier to move the camera forward or back rather than turning the ring sometimes, is that a bad thing ? I pretty much tend to "wing it" at the moment with just a vague idea of what I'm doing........ but I love it ! Cheers from Oz XX

  10. P.S. Just wanted to pop in quickly & thank you for your sweet comment re: the Blessing of Animals! It was the previous Sunday (yes, I'm slow on the uptake :)), but usually happens the first Sunday every October, so hopefully you or your husband might catch in on another Manhattan trip! :)
