It's friday again so do check out other entries at blogging from Bolivia. I took this macro of the reeds at the edge of the stream in my garden, at the moment they are all linked by a series of intricate spider webs.

what a beautiful job. Have a great weekend, Justine.
ReplyDeleteYour black & white shots are magical. This is really lovely and many people wouldn't be able to see the b&w potential in the image before conversion.

ReplyDeleteThis really is magical! I love that in just such a short time, you're already amazing b&w's seemed to shoot into another level! Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteAnd I happened to check my comments (takes me a while most days :)) & saw yours on the broccoli rabe - it's a different veg from broccoli (might be called the Italian rapini or something ekse in the UK, but I've not seen it there actually) - it's a bit sharper, but very similar, and delicious! :)
*your* already amazing b&w's :)

Bullrushes...or cattails.....Amazing how little details become so important in a wonderful photo such as this.
ReplyDeleteAfter posting my comment above, I did some research about the cattail-bullrushes relationship. "Not to be confused with each other" is what I found. There was a scientific explanation of the differences, but the illustrations seem very similar. ;-)
