Monday morning.

My Queen Anne's lace has a few flowers left on it but the frost came overnight.

  6. Fabulous bokeh! And lots of lovely texture for black & white image. The first thing that came into my head when I looked at it was Snow Queen! Don't quite know why but I always think instant associations like that mean something. In this case beauty!

  7. This is just so beautiful, Justine! And what an amazing bokeh - you are a genius! I tried b&w again today but I'm not really satisfied. I had a quick look a your past posts and they are all so great! You really have a hand (or should I say "eye") for taking the most beautiful photos of the most ordinary things and they all look so good in black and white! Gorgeous!

  14. This is such a soft and delicate photo, the water on the Queen Ann's Lace makes it appear even more fragile than usual;........ and NO you do not take the same old boring photos, ha ! Thats not how I recognise them, quite the opposite, it's because they are fresh and different and you some how are able to transform the very ordinary,ie. a shirt on a hanger, a pair of shoes, a tape measure into something so full of dynamic interest in terms of line, shape, form, texture, pattern, light and shade, that they become more than what they are, ........any way thats what I love about your photos.
