Ice skating

We popped into Somerset House in London this afternoon where they have had an ice rink set up for the last month or so, sadly only this one person was on it. Somerset House is a lovely old building and you can just see the reflection of it in the surface of the rink. I have never tried ice skating and wasn't tempted today!

    Great shot, Justine...I love the reflection of the building in the ice. Too bad the rink wasn't full of skaters. Where are your skates?

    What a great shot! The glass is so perfectly smooth and I love the way the old building is reflected in it. The single skater seems to add a quiet serenity to the image. Beautiful.

    Maybe sad for the venue, but great for your photography to have only one person. The reflection of the building in the ice and the lines of the rink are really neat. And I like your new blog header photo too!

    The reflection is awesome! I've only ice skated an few times and both times I just remember it really hurting my ankles! I'd much rather watch someone who is really good at it! : )

    I love the reflection - awesome shot! Ice skating was hard for me - I stayed on my bottom more than upright. :)
