I wish it was spring, non stop dull grey skies here. I bought myself a big bunch of tulips today to cheer myself up and pretend!

They are a happy image of what's to come. Love the way you shot them with the dark background...beautifully composed.
ReplyDeleteThose beauties out to do the trick!!! Gorgeous photo!!!
ReplyDeletegorgeous photo. I love it.
ReplyDeleteAren't they gorgeous. I really must get some - they are truly my favourite flower. The ones in my borders are shooting up but it'll be a while before they flower and when they do I'm loathe to cut them because they're so beautiful outside!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous - yes, let's pretend it's spring already!
ReplyDeleteYour photo cheers me and brightens the day! I love tulips and enjoy seeing all the creative ways they can be photographed. Beautiful composition.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. We had some sunny days last week but we are back to grey skies and rain again. BLECH!!
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty. I love your work. Stop by if you get a chance :-)

My mom always used to tell me to "fake it til you make it" so pretending its spring may just be the answer.
ReplyDeleteReally pretty Justine. The stores here are amazingly lacking in tulips, and I asked someone the other day about it. She told me they have not been able to keep up with the demand, and are out of them most of the time right now. You are not alone in pretending!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteWell,,,a very welcome image for sure...considering it has been snowing here on and off for the last two days straight...gorgeous shot!!
ReplyDeleteThese tulips are so lovely Justine! We don't have to deal with the continuous grey skies here, but I do wish it would get a bit warmer soon!
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty!
ReplyDeletebeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'll pretend with you.
ReplyDeletePretending has all sorts of wonderful benefits! Like, the fact that we get to come along and pretend too. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have yellow ones on my table, too. So pretty in full of energy.
ReplyDeleteHugs.
I can not find words for this photo.......
ReplyDeleteWonderful composition,
Beautiful!!! I've bought two bouquets of tulips in the past two weeks, and never thought to do a photo...you have such an exquisite eye!!! Love the black background...

Great shot, Justine. I tried to fool Mother Nature by getting out my Spring handbag to use. It hasn't worked yet!
ReplyDeletei can feel you wishing spring to come. Lovely photo. Charmaine
ReplyDeletethis is what I need to do. These are so bright and pretty.
ReplyDeleteI think that was the big idea all over. I saw so many people with tulips at the market this weekend. Wonderful photo!
ReplyDeleteSigh......beautiful, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteJust lovely. At least they are likely to last awhile. I can't have any flowers at the moment as by morning they are all dead and wilted from the heat! All the flowers in my garden have died and even the ferns are burnt!
ReplyDeleteLove this! What did you use for a background?

If we all pretend hard enough maybe we can make it happen! Beautiful shot, the yellow is so cheerful and lokks amazing with the dark background.
ReplyDeleteSo bright and cheery - lovely with the black background.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful and stunning against the black!!
ReplyDeleteYes, please, let's pretend!!! I love your bunch of tulips! That yellow is so promising! Wonderful composition, Justine!
