Pretending it is spring.

I wish it was spring, non stop dull grey skies here. I bought myself a big bunch of tulips today to cheer myself up and pretend!

  3. Aren't they gorgeous. I really must get some - they are truly my favourite flower. The ones in my borders are shooting up but it'll be a while before they flower and when they do I'm loathe to cut them because they're so beautiful outside!

  8. My mom always used to tell me to "fake it til you make it" so pretending its spring may just be the answer.

  9. Really pretty Justine. The stores here are amazingly lacking in tulips, and I asked someone the other day about it. She told me they have not been able to keep up with the demand, and are out of them most of the time right now. You are not alone in pretending!!! :-)

  23. Just lovely. At least they are likely to last awhile. I can't have any flowers at the moment as by morning they are all dead and wilted from the heat! All the flowers in my garden have died and even the ferns are burnt!
