Still life

These poppies have been sitting in this vase all winter, I love the way they still manage to look beautiful even though they are now completely dried.

    These look wonderful. I collect all kinds of dried pods/flowers...in fact, I found some of those "things" you have on your header just this weekend.

    I love poppies but have trouble growing them. I'm going to give it another go this summer so I can collect these beautiful seed pods.

    This is beautiful Justine! I especially like it because just last week as I was rushing through the house, my handbag hit the vase that contained mine. Amazingly the vase was fine, but "end of story" for the poppies! Love the light in this photograph!
