These are the poppies that are in bloom from my previous picture, I assume they are from the poppy family although I could be completely wrong, anyway, they are in my new garden and provide a wonderful burst of colour on a rather cold and windy day.
I do think these are poppies Justine, and they are so nice to see, as we usually just have the "normal" red/orange ones here. I did plant some pink ones just last week, so maybe...

How nice to find a colorful surprise in your new garden bed. I imagine you'll find lots of surprises in the garden as the year continues...hope they aren't too difficult to tend.
