The second shot I took in the park near the water in the afternoon sun. I do love natural light. I bought a canon speedlite for my course but just can't get enthusiastic about using it, how about you? do you prefer natural light or speedlite?
I am linking up at through a photographer's eye today, this is a great blog I have stumbled across.
Thanks for the great light pics.. I love natural light although it is great to have the option of created light.. I love when natural light does the unexpected.. Carla
ReplyDeleteLovely shots. It was a great day wasn't it. Back to dull now :-(
ReplyDeleteMmmm...that sunshine looks wonderful!

Hi. Thanks for the visit. (And no, I'm not into any new photography content...just found myself in a run down part of town -- the light was great, and I saw all these "compositions." It was fun seeing and shooting rusty, decaying forms and shapes.)
ReplyDeleteAs for your Speedlite question . . . I personally am just not into flash, and shoot everything "available light." It forces me to "find the light" and be a better photographer.
Take care. Good shooting.
I love natural lighting and almost never use any sort of flash! Shoot entirely manual, so can usually get the settings that i need with out flash. Love your shots today!
ReplyDeleteOne of the reasons I upgraded to a better camera is to be able to use the available light.I love that second shot!
ReplyDeleteThat light is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! These are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteDelicious pictures, I love the first one with that soft play of light and shadows.
ReplyDeleteThe light is really fantastic, Justine! I love those warm tones! I'm all for natural light. I must admit I've never used a speedlite so far...
ReplyDeleteI'm still a natural light fan myself. Maybe one day when I actually understand all the aspects of photos, I might venture into using a speedlight. I'll have to check out that blog you mentioned too.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful light, Justine. I particularly like the second shot. I'm a huge fan of natural light, but I don't really have much choice, as I don't have any photographic lighting equipment!
ReplyDeleteLights and objects together and create an abstract painting.
ReplyDeleteNicely captured.
Such gorgeous photos.. I have to say I just love the natural light!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Linda
Love the sparkly water! I am not a fan of flash either, but the looming darkness daylight savings has brought has got me thinking...
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely!! I prefer natural light, hands down. I do have a flash but cringe when it's necessary to use it. :)
ReplyDeleteSo nice! I prefer to photograph in natural light.
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity of the image of the light thru the shades. Something we see everyday rendered extraordinary. Terrific!
ReplyDeleteNatural Light. I hardly ever use my flash... it is turned off.
