I don't know about you but here it seems to be getting darker and winter is just around the corner. At this time of year I always want to stay in bed longer and surround myself with comfort, how about you?

The light is so beautiful...I could jump right in and take a nap!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so inviting! The temptation to hibernate is overwhelming right now.
ReplyDeleteI am always an early riser but I do say as the nights get longer it is easier to stay in bed longer. During the summer here in the desert it gets light so early (we don't go on Daylight Savings Time) 5am is when it is light outside. This is in order for those that want to get out and exercise can before the sun really blasts us. I just don't like that it is so early that we have to get outside to enjoy just a little of cooler air. I much prefer the way it is now where I can enjoy all of the outside weather.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to meeting you and I am sure you will have a ton of people around you wanting to be your friend. :) Only 2 more weeks. yay
I saw this on Flickr and loved it and am loving it here again. I'm so in tune with light so when it begins to fade it really affects me. I am pushing myself to get up early and head to the gym. Harder and harder in the dark. Honestly though, once the sun is up-I'm ready. Rainy and cloudy (and the damn snowy) ones are the most difficult. Comfort yes, and my sweet cat tends to visit and snuggle and purr. How can one not love that?
ReplyDeleteI hope this is a shot of your bedroom. It looks heavenly.
I'm with you - I have a harder and hard time getting up each morning, I can't decide if it is the later sunrise or because it is cold outside of the covers
ReplyDeleteOh, yes... I don't want to get out of bed in the mornings, and because I'm retired with a younger husband still working, I can stay in bed as long as I like! ;-) The image of the entrance to your comfy room is a beauty.
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right, Justine...... especially good to stay and snuggle with your loved one. Never enough snuggle time as far as I am concerned.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and toasty!
So much serenity in this. Here an exceptionally early snow has added to that "want to stay in bed a bit longer" feeling.
ReplyDeletelovely light!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot. Love the light and the feeling calm and tranquility. xx
ReplyDeleteI am partial to photos and paintings of bedrooms that include a window and perhaps the covers turned down a bit or rumpled...this is lovely, Justine ;)
ReplyDeleteLooks so inviting Justine! I have trouble getting out of bed every morning, not looking forward to daylight saving starting tonight!
ReplyDeleteI love Autumn, just don't like the dark mornings. Evenings are great when you can bring out the candles and get all cosy on the sofa.

beautiful light in this photo!
ReplyDeleteI love the mystery of the door ajar and the bed....and yes, I have found myself staying in bed a little later than usual the last few mornings.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lighting Justine!!! And a warm and cozy spot to lay in bed and contemplate the morning light!!!
ReplyDeleteOh..I so know that feeling! What a beautifully simple and warm image. Love how you captured the light in this!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great mood in this image -- the light is so lovely! I am not ready to hibernate yet, as it has been very warm here, and no rain yet.
ReplyDeleteYes, shorter days, but prettier light. Love this photo. It makes me want to curl up with a good book.
