Autumn

I don't know about you but here it seems to be getting darker and winter is just around the corner. At this time of year I always want to stay in bed longer and surround myself with comfort, how about you?

  2. It looks so inviting! The temptation to hibernate is overwhelming right now.

  3. I am always an early riser but I do say as the nights get longer it is easier to stay in bed longer. During the summer here in the desert it gets light so early (we don't go on Daylight Savings Time) 5am is when it is light outside. This is in order for those that want to get out and exercise can before the sun really blasts us. I just don't like that it is so early that we have to get outside to enjoy just a little of cooler air. I much prefer the way it is now where I can enjoy all of the outside weather.

I am looking forward to meeting you and I am sure you will have a ton of people around you wanting to be your friend. :) Only 2 more weeks. yay

  4. I saw this on Flickr and loved it and am loving it here again. I'm so in tune with light so when it begins to fade it really affects me. I am pushing myself to get up early and head to the gym. Harder and harder in the dark. Honestly though, once the sun is up-I'm ready. Rainy and cloudy (and the damn snowy) ones are the most difficult. Comfort yes, and my sweet cat tends to visit and snuggle and purr. How can one not love that?
I hope this is a shot of your bedroom. It looks heavenly.

  5. I'm with you - I have a harder and hard time getting up each morning, I can't decide if it is the later sunrise or because it is cold outside of the covers

  6. Oh, yes... I don't want to get out of bed in the mornings, and because I'm retired with a younger husband still working, I can stay in bed as long as I like! ;-) The image of the entrance to your comfy room is a beauty.

  7. You are absolutely right, Justine...... especially good to stay and snuggle with your loved one. Never enough snuggle time as far as I am concerned.
    Stay warm and toasty!

  8. So much serenity in this. Here an exceptionally early snow has added to that "want to stay in bed a bit longer" feeling.

  10. I am partial to photos and paintings of bedrooms that include a window and perhaps the covers turned down a bit or rumpled...this is lovely, Justine ;)

  12. I love Autumn, just don't like the dark mornings. Evenings are great when you can bring out the candles and get all cosy on the sofa.
