looking at life through the lens
Did you survive the storm? Lovely photo btw!
This is a lovely photo and also an interesting insight into the books you're reading! How strange that the one on top should be about Dorothea Lange - I only just ordered the Phaidon book about her!
This is lovely... I look forward to days curled in a chair reading... summer usually gets too busy for me to do that. How DID London survive "Sandy"?
I really need to get to a bookstore and get this book. I love the little naked ladies you have in your vase. I miss those from California, they would just come up anywhere and everywhere along the coast in the spring. All flowers no leaves, just standing tall and straight.
You've captured the feel of November here, with the slanted light and inviting chair. Elevate the Everyday sounds interesting.
Great photo, it really captures this time of year - a low light but with a white light that lifts it up, Elevating The Everyday indeed. I am very ambivalent about the dark seasons too, photography helps, as does being submerged in a good book. What is the whole title of the one that only shows 'Body...' - tantalising!
I love both this and the tutu photo..so different yet so good to the eyes..
