To market, to market

I love going to the market, I don't go often but when I do I spend ages marvelling at the amazing produce. We went to Borough markets the other day, so much to look at and photograph.
So many wonderful spring flowers

Purple sprouting brocolli

Oysters freshly shucked

and finally, roast meats on offer

  8. Yes, markets are the best places. Apart from all the wonderful images to photograph, the colours, smells and tastes, they also, for me, portray "normality".....that what ever dramas or problems are going on in your personal life, a market brings every thing back down to basics, the things that are important, we all need to eat, we all need to have a connection with the earth. Your images are beautiful, I can almost smell those oysters. xx

  13. Oh it's beautiful, Justine - so wonderful to see your gorgeous photography again! I haven't been to Borough Market in a very long time. It's looks as rich as I remember. I have tried to catch up on older posts, very happy to see you've settled in in wonderful London. And also best of luck with your son's decision re: university. I've known many who've changed universities and they were always glad to have done so.
